USL2 & WPSL Juniors Training

Winter USL2 & WPSL Juniors Training is a dedicated program open to players on the top regional teams in the 10U-19U age groups and will feature an elite coaching staff comprised of Wake FC directors and top-team coaches..

This is exclusive, one-of-a-kind training available ONLY to players on Wake FC Blue, Gold or NPL teams. Anyone wishing to participate in USL2 & WPSL Juniors Training who is NOT on a WFC Blue, Gold or NPL team should register for Premier Training. Players will be evaluated at Premier Training for placement in USL2 & WPSL Juniors Training (this includes non-Wake FC players).

The goal of USL2 & WPSL Juniors Training is to develop dynamic and creative players.

Sessions will include positional work, pattern and combination play, finishing in the final third, runs off the ball, and creative attacking scenarios. Players will receive individual instruction from Wake FC Blue, Gold, NPL and other staff coaches and directors. Besides keeping players active in the offseason, this program will help players continue to develop and hone skills directly related to having a successful spring season on their teams.

Sessions incorporate:

- 1v1 skill moves to goal
- Breaking down defenders and getting them off balance
- 2v1 and 3v2 transitions to goal
- High intensity traiing on the ball
- Speed & agility, explosiveness and core strength work
