Wake FC Partners with Duke Sports Med

We are excited to partner with Duke Health Sports Medicine. As one of three FIFA Medical Centers of Excellence in the United States, and one of 48 centers internationally, Duke Health is a leader in the football medicine community.  Part of our relationship with Duke Health is centered around preventative medicine for our athletes.  “Injury prevention and increasing athletic performance on the field is a big focus at the collegiate and professional levels and we think Duke Health will enhance that environment greatly at Wake FC,” David Allred, Executive Director of Wake FC.

This partnership will give Wake FC families access to medical care, with trainers present at Wake FC events and select evenings at Ting Park. Additionally, parents can fill out an injury report via the following link: Duke REDcap referal form.

This service assures expedited evaluation of injuries, and allows athletes to begin treatment earlier with improved recovery times.
