USL League Two Summer Academy Clinic -
The Wake FC Summer Academy Clinic series will include boys academy sessions (please note: space will be limited). The clinic will be divided by position and or skill level during the session. This clinic will be intensive training sessions from some of the top coaches from Wake FC and the state. This clinic is open to Academy players: MLS Next, USL Academy, NPLN + NPLS, Blue + Gold players, as well as players highly recommended by their coach from other Wake FC teams. These clinics will also allow our coaching staff to get to know players from the various Academy teams.
- High intensity possession activities
- Building out from the back
- 1v1 attacking and defending
- Developing 1v1 moves to goal
- Breaking down opponents in the final third
- Combination play
- Offensive set pieces
- Defensive set pieces
*Please note: Participation in this clinic will make each player eligible to compete for a spot on the summer USL Academy team and/or USL League Two first team, if the player is given the invitation by the coaching staff. That participation could include training sessions as well as games with these senior teams.
