WINTER CLINICS
For current and non-WFC players
Wake FC is excited to announce our Clinic Series. We offer a variety of different clinic options: Pre-Academy Clinic, Masterclass Clinic, Shooting & Finishing Clinic, Future Juniors Clinic, and Goalkeeping Clinics. Each Clinic is tailored for different age groups and levels of players, from recreational to elite competitors. This year, clinics will take place at various turf facilities in southern Wake County.
Wake FC Clinics are recurring training sessions that take place in the afternoon/early evening.
PRE-ACADEMY CLINIC + GK
For current and non-WFC players born between 2018-2014

The Wake FC Pre-Academy winter Clinic will include boys and girls pre-academy sessions that will be divided by position and or skill level during the sessions. This clinic will offer intensive training from some of the top coaches in Wake FC. The curriculum will be structured and administered by Pre-Academy Technical Director Santiago Fusilier.

Masterclass Clinic

Register for the Masterclass Clinic and witness improvement in your player’s overall soccer performance, skill set, and confidence. Designed to elevate your game through skill-building and tactical awareness, this program focuses on refining the player’s fundamental techniques for future success.

Shooting & Finishing Clinic
For current and non-WFC players born between 2013-2007

The Shooting and Finishing clinic is designed to provide field players an opportunity to finish on goal from various angles and game-like situations. This clinic will give players a chance to put the ball in the back of the net repeatedly over the week. These sessions will increase their confidence and ability to make runs and find space to receive service in the box and finish.

Goalkeeping Clinic
For current and non-WFC players born between 2013-2007

Taught by our Academy goalkeeper staff and curriculum implemented by our Wake FC goalkeeping director with collegiate and professional experience. Sessions include handling, shot-stopping, distribution, reflexes, and controlling the box. Players will enjoy fun games, high-tempo competitions, and some in-game scrimmage involvement with field players.

Academy Goal Keeping Clinic
For current and non-WFC players born between 2013-2007

Led by our Wake FC Academy Goalkeeping Director and staff with collegiate and professional experience, this program follows the Academy goalkeeper curriculum designed to refine advanced technical and tactical skills. Sessions emphasize high-intensity training in areas such as advanced handling, reaction saves, distribution under pressure, positioning, decision-making, and commanding the defensive unit. Training also includes situational play and game-realistic scenarios to enhance performance in match environments.

Future Juniors

Wake FC Future Juniors is a unique youth development program offered in various areas around Wake County. Our goal is to create an environment that fosters a whole player, coach, and parent engagement philosophy. Every session will be full of energy, with each player getting multiple touches on the ball in age-appropriate games and activities.
The program will aim to increase the player's skills, understanding, and passion for soccer. Each session will be carefully planned to include technical and motor-skill development and will end with small-sided games for the players to apply newly learned concepts and skills in a fun and pressure-free environment. Our Future Juniors program is designed to serve as a complement to any player in a local league or currently on a Wake FC team. Many of the Future Juniors players go on to play in our Juniors, Pre-Academy, and Academy programs within the club.
Participants should meet the age requirements; however, no tryout is required to enroll and participate. Participants should be 4 years old by the start of the program.

FUTSAL CLINIC
For current and non-WFC players born between 2015-2008

The Wake FC Futsal program will be offered at David R. Kahn Community Campus (JCC) and led by our North & Academy coaches. The program will focus on the technical aspects of the game in an environment that promotes speed of play while enhancing decision-making skills in tight spaces with an emphasis on ball mastery. To maximize the number of touches per player, we will focus on small-sided games. Our program is perfect for keeping your touch on the ball in the off-season while having a fun time!
