Wake FC is excited to announce our Summer Clinic Series. We offer a variety of different clinic options: Pre-Academy Clinic, Finishing & Saving Clinic, Future Jrs Clinic, USL Academy Summer training, and Academy Keeper Clinic. Each Clinic is tailored for different age groups and levels of players, from recreational to elite competitors. This year, clinics will take place at Middle Creek Park and Ting Park.
Wake FC Summer Clinics are recurring training sessions that take place in the afternoon/early evening.
PRE-ACADEMY CLINIC
The Wake FC Pre-Academy Summer Clinic will include boys and girls pre-academy sessions that will be divided by position and or skill level during the sessions. This clinic will offer intensive training from some of the top coaches in Wake FC and the state. The curriculum will be structured and administered by Pre-Academy Technical Director Santiago Fusilier.
Registration is open to WFC and non-WFC players, however, participation is restricted as follows:
1. WFC players must be on a WFC Pre-Academy or Juniors team.

- Player's first & last name, date of birth, current club name & team name in which they participate.
- High-intensity possession activities
- Building out from the back
- 1v1 attacking and defending
- Developing 1v1 moves to goal
- Combination play
- Breaking down opponents in the final third

Finishing & Saving Clinic
This clinic is designed to provide field players an opportunity to finish on goal from many different angles and game like situations. Goalkeepers will face the same game like looks, from many different angles and distance. This clinic will give players a chance to put the ball in the back of the net hundreds of times over the course of the week. This will increase their confidence and ability to make runs and find space to receive service in the box and finish. The intent for goalkeepers is similar, we want them to make hundreds of different types of saves during the course of the week. This will help their understanding of angle play and positioning and improve their overall stature in goal.

USL Academy Training Program
For Current WFC Academy Players Only
The Wake FC USL Academy Training Program is a comprehensive training program designed for
pre-collegiate and pre-professional soccer players. The USL Academy Training Program
will center on providing additional training opportunities around the academy training schedule in the winter, spring, & summer off-season. It is designed to run as a complement to your existing academy & high-school team. Players will be trained in player pools within their age groups.
This program emphasizes the pre-professional environment and training sessions for athletes during the winter & summer off-season. Your potential opportunities to play in additional game, league, and tournament opportunities should be viewed as a supplement to this training program. We have priced this program to be a great value for our academy players because what they do in the off-season and over 12 months is important to their overall development.
