Wake FC Expands NPL Involvement

Wake FC will expand participation in the South Atlantic NPL for the 2020/21 season, having been granted an additional team slot in each age group. The club will now field NPL teams from both WFC North and WFC South.

Since 2016, participation in South Atlantic National Premier League has been a key piece in the Wake FC development pathway. Teams in the 12U-19U age groups have access to college recruiting, film sessions, high-level coaching, college showcase events, national ID programs and more. By adding a second NPL team in each age group, the club is expanding access to high-level development for players selected at tryouts.
